In certain cases where sandblasting (or even hydro-sandblasting) cannot be used for these eventualities, a valid solution could be the removal of poorly anchored paint by high-pressure water washing (500 bar).
As you can see in the video, all the paint that is not bonded to the surface of the tank will be removed, leaving only that which is well anchored to the metal support.
Logically, it won't be comparable to sandblasting, but, in certain contexts, it is the fastest and most effective solution since it doesn't release dust or disperse sand into the environment.
